Join us for our Black History Month Kickoff with special guest speaker, Dr. Mary J. Lomax-Ghirarduzzi, Vice-President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as we open a month of activities, events and performances. She is also a professor in the Communication Department.
A leader on race, leadership and faith-informed social justice, she is guiding the university through a transformative framework designed to integrate DEI into all aspects of campus life and operations.
Soloist Simone Gamble will sing the Black National Anthem, and there will be a student led Q/A session rounding out the program.
Located in the BSS Lounge on the 2nd floor of the McCaffrey Center.
